THE TRUE GNOSTIC

The term Gnosticism is derived from the Greek term "gnosis" which means "to know", and is the root of several English words. One such word is, "knowledge". 

This is the "knowledge KEY", this is the "gnosis", this is the key of the Kingdom of God, that all the carnal minded religious systems of this world, like the carnal minded scribes (lawyers), cannot (will not) give out, so that the soul may be able to unlock the Paradisiacal door of God's saving heavenly knowledge of His gospel, and enter His Kingdom. For this is the key that alone can open the gate of life, through which alone is the entrance to eternal life, as our beloved apostle Peter tells us. And so it is written,

“ Hear them He said, as entrusted with THE KEY OF THE KINGDOM, WHICH IS KNOWLEDGE, which alone can open the gate of life, through which alone is the entrance to eternal life." Apostle Peter Clement Homilies “

And again, our Holy Lord Himself, mentions this KEY OF KNOWLEDGE, by which one enters THE KINGDOM OF GOD, as it is written,

“ Woe unto you, lawyers! For ye have taken away THE KEY OF KNOWLEDGE: (Note! We see in Strong's Bible Concordance, that the word "KNOWLEDGE" being used here in Luke 11:52, comes from the Greek word: "GNOSIS": Greek #1108 γνῶσις gnōsis gno‘-sis. From knowing the act, that is, by implication, knowledge: - knowledge, science.) ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered." Luke 11:52

This is the gospel cross key of the house of David ( Isa.22:22), the house of the FEMALE heavenly wisdom ( Proverbs 9:1), i.e., the flesh and bone of the MALE Christ ( Proverbs 9:1), so that once using it, just like David, the soul may be able to dwell in that house in order to behold the beauty of her heavenly lover Lord, and inquire into His heavenly Spiritual laws of love ( Psalms 27:4, Psalms 119:18).

This is the "knowledge", the "gnosis", that opens up the mind, opens up the soul, of the heavenly Christian, the true bride of Christ (for every heavenly born again soul is a bride of Christ), so that His bride may make herself ready for her husband, and not be afraid with that key, to unlock, to open, and walk through the Paradisiacal door of His saving heavenly knowledge of His gospel, and be robed anew in her mind and soul, in His heavenly wisdom and understanding. All of which has to do with truly, truly, "Loving GOD, in God's HOLY Spirit". For it is written,

“ Who also declared unto us your (1) love in the Spirit. For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the (2)knowledge (3)of his will in all (4)wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and (5) increasing in the knowledge of God; ” Col.1:8-10

Here we see in Col.1:8-10, that (1), our beloved apostle Paul is speaking about God's love, that is in God's Spirit. For he says: love in the Spirit.

So, from this Bible scripture we see that all those who "truly seek to love in the Spirit of God", are all those who have, and all those who seek to be filled with, and seek to increase in this 'knowledge', i.e., all those who have, and seek to be filled with, and seek to increase in this Epignosis, this “gnosis”, that our beloved apostle Paul spoke of in Col.1:8--10.

Therefore, all those heavenly Christians who have, and seek to be filled with, and seek to increase in this  “gnosis”, that our beloved apostle Paul spoke of in Col.1:8-10, could truly be called 'Gnostics', in the true sense of the word, because this 'knowledge',  this  gnosis, is in them, and they seek to be filled with it, and to increase in it, in order to be "loving in God's Spirit".

Indeed, even the renowned Christian teacher Origen himself, in his: "Commentary on the gospel of John", uses the word "GNOSIS", and makes mention of this very same thing. For he calls "The Word" in the gospel of John, THE TRUE LIFE, and then says,

Also, in Col. 1:8-10, we see that (3), this is the knowledge, the gnosis, "of God's will". And that (4), this knowledge, this gnosis, of God's will, is to be in all "wisdom", and "Spiritual understanding".

This is the "wisdom", and "Spiritual understanding", that is not earthly, but heavenly. For as we know, our  beloved apostle James, tells us that there are two kinds of wisdom. One from below which is earthly, and one from above which is heavenly. For it is written,

"But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and (1) lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.  For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.(2) But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.(3) And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. " James 3:14-18

Here in James 3:14-18, we see that (1), the wisdom that is from below is earthly, sensual (i.e., of the five carnal dead senses in scripture, for there are two kinds of wisdom found in scripture), devilish,  and that it lies against the truth, and brings the Babylon confusion.

But here we also see in James 3:14-18, that (2), the wisdom that is from above (i.e., heavenly wisdom), is pure, peaceable, full of mercy and good fruits. And we see that (3), the fruit of God's righteousness, is sown in the peace of wisdom above.

Therefore, we see that only the heavenly Christians, only the true bride of Christ, only the true Gnostics, are the ones who bring forth the fruit of God's righteousness, and the peace of His wisdom above.

And as for the wisdom above, in 1 Cor. 2: 6-9, it is shown to us very clearly that our beloved apostle Paul (who wrote the Colossian epistle), was of the wisdom above, not of the wisdom below. For it is written,

"Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. "1Cor.2:6-9

So, here again we see, that the pure heavenly wisdom above, with all its peaceful fruits of God's righteousness, belongs only to the heavenly Christian, only to the true bride of Christ, only to the true Gnostic. And only the heavenly Christian, the true bride of Christ, the true Gnostic, can bring forth the hidden mystery of it.

And in regards to bringing forth the mystery of it; as its pure living water flows out from the mind, from the soul of the bride, the bride is changed into the glory of her heavenly lover Lord, more and more, and so are all those who wash their mind, their soul, their heart, in the living water Word of God's faith, that flows from her.

Oh, what heavenly eternal glory is in this heavenly wisdom and understanding, this Word of God's faith, that carnal mankind with their carnal eyes, and their carnal ears, and their carnal heart cannot see, nor hear, nor understand!

Our beloved Moses, makes mention of this heavenly wisdom and understanding, this Word of God's faith, showing that it is the heavenly Spiritual law of God, that came from God the Spirit. For it is written,

"Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them;  (1) for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.  For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for? And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments (2) so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? Deut. 4:5-8

And again,

Here in Deut. 4:5-8, we see that (1), beloved Moses is speaking about this heavenly wisdom and understanding. And that (2), beloved Moses hints that this heavenly wisdom and understanding is the righteous law.

And in Deut. 4:12-13, we see that (3), it was God the Spirit speaking unto them about His righteous law of heavenly wisdom and understanding.

And that (4), it was the voice speaking from heaven, showing, therefore, that it was the law from heavenly Jerusalem, the mother of all heavenly Christians (~see Heb.12:22-26, Gal.4:26~).

And that (5), the voice was proclaiming "the ten commandments", showing that THE TEN COMMANDMENTS ARE SPIRITUAL ( Rom.7:14 ).

The heavenly Christian, the true Gnostic, the true bride of Christ, knows that this heavenly wisdom and understanding of God, this heavenly law of God, is Spiritual, and therefore, it is hid from carnal mankind, even as our beloved apostle Paul points out. For he wrote,

"Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. "1Cor.2:6-11

This is the heavenly Gnostic law, with it's heavenly Spiritual ten commandments, that Israel after the flesh, i.e., false Israel, just like the false Jews ( Rom.2:28,  Rom.2:29,  Rom. 9:6), did not have a heart to perceive, nor eyes to see it, nor ears to hear it. And so it is written,

"These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb. And Moses called unto all Israel, and said unto them, Ye have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land; The great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles: Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day. And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot. " Deut.29:1-5

The heavenly Christian, the true Gnostic, the true bride of Christ, knows that the same is to be said today about the so-called Christians after the flesh, i.e., those who are: "earthly minded in scripture". For in their own foolish mind (belly), they lust the wrong way in scripture ( Phil.3:19  Ecclesiasticus 23:5)".

For in their carnal minded scripture lusting, they are not subject to the heavenly Spiritual life giving laws of God, in order to be set free from carnal minded death. For they do not have a heavenly heart to perceive, nor heavenly eyes to see, nor heavenly ears to hear, God's saving heavenly Spiritual laws of His heavenly wisdom and understanding ( Rom. 8:6,  Rom.8:7,  Rom.8:2) .

For thinking that they can have peace without seeking to understand the immortal (Spiritual) laws of God, they do not understand what is written,

"To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,  Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;  But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:  For there is no respect of persons with God." Rom.2:7-11

For Moses (a true heavenly Gnostic), in allowing Christ's Spirit of heavenly wisdom, to bring forth the ten commandments of heavenly wisdom and understanding through him ( 1 Peter 1:11), was bringing forth the very same "Word of faith", that our Beloved apostle Paul (a true heavenly Gnostic), was bringing forth.

For Moses, and the apostles, preached the very same "Spiritual law".

For Moses, and the apostles, preached the very same "Word of faith".

For Moses preached Christ "the Word", who is "the Spiritual law". For it is written that Moses said,

“ If thou shalt harken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. For this commandment which I command thee this day, is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shoudest say, who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it ? "But the Word" is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it” Deut. 30:10-14.

And it is written that our apostle Paul said,

"For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth these things shall live by them. But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is to bring "Christ" down from above ~see Deut.30:12~) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? ( that is, to bring up "Christ" again from the dead. ~see Deut. 30:13~) But what saith it? The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: "that is, the Word of faith, which we preach"; ~see Deut. 30:14~ That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Rom.10-5-10.

Here we see beyond a doubt, that Moses and the apostles, preached the very same "Word of faith". The very same "law of faith".

For our beloved apostle Paul said, when speaking about "the Word" that Moses brought forth in Deut. 30:10-14, that that "Word", was the same "Word of faith", that the apostles were preaching. For our apostle Paul said:

"...That is the Word of faith, which we preach." Rom.10:8

But the heavenly Christian, the true Gnostic, the true bride of Christ, does notice also, that our beloved apostle Paul said:

"that is, the Word of faith, which we preach"; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

And so, the heavenly Christian, the true Gnostic, the true bride of Christ, does see, and understand, that to confess with her mouth her Lord Jesus Christ, and to believe with her heart unto righteousness, is to confess, and believe in the heavenly Spiritual laws that Moses and the prophets, and the apostles brought forth. And she does know that this confession is unto salvation.

Indeed, the heavenly Christian, the true Gnostic, the true bride of Christ, knows (by frequent mediation on the beauty of her new baptismal robe Eph.5:30), that when looking into: "HEAVENLY WISDOM'S SPIRITUAL LAWS", the first thing that she must keep in mind as she looks into these laws, is to find: "GOD'S HOLY HEAVENLY WISDOM'S SPIRIT RULE OF TRUTH IN EACH LAW".

Why? Because she knows that this rule of truth is: "GOD'S RULE OF HIS DIVINE PRINCIPLE OF RECONCILIATION OF HER SOUL BACK TO GOD'S HIDDEN HEAVENLY WISDOM'S SPIRIT OF TRUTH (i.e., THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST ~see 1Peter 1:10-11~), WHICH HAS SPOKEN TO MANKIND THROUGHOUT ALL AGES IN THE SCRIPTURES".

For it is this “rule of truth”, that harmonizes the two opposites (of the letter, and of the Divine Spirit 2 Cor. 3:6 ), in such a Way, so that the scriptures would have at all times for their objective: “THE ADVANCEMENT OF OUR LORD’S HOLY SPIRIT OF HIS DIVINE GLORY, TO BE PLACED IN HER SOUL, IN HER MIND, IN HER HEART, AND IN ALL HER STRENGTH. SO THAT IN THE END, SHE WILL LOVE THE LORD HER GOD, WITH ALL HER HEART, ALL OF HER MIND, ALL OF HER SOUL, AND ALL OF HER STRENGTH”.

This is the rule of truth, that all the apostles brought forth. Lets look at one example of this rule of truth from our beloved apostle Paul.

But before we look at this example of the rule of truth from our beloved apostle Paul, let us look at what our beloved apostle Peter says about our apostle Paul. For in  2 Peter 3:15-16, we see that it is written,

“And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 2 Peter 3:15-16

Here we do see that our beloved apostle Paul, wrote epistles through “GOD’S HOLY HEAVENLY WISDOM’S SPIRIT, RULE OF TRUTH”, that was given to him.

And in regards to this heavenly wisdom, we see that our beloved apostle Paul wrote,

“Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” 1 Cor.2:6-8

It is clear from the above scriptures, that the princes, rulers, of this world, (i.e., those who fought against our Holy Lord Jesus Christ, and His Church, with their carnal earthly wisdom from below  Rom. 8:6), were of the wisdom of the letter only, and they did not seek to harmonize the two opposites of the letter, and of the Divine Spirit, in such a Way, so that the scriptures would have at all times for their objective: THE ADVANCEMENT OF OUR LORD’S HOLY SPIRIT OF HIS DIVINE GLORY, IN THEIR SOULS, IN THEIR MINDS, IN THEIR HEARTS, AND IN ALL THEIR STRENGTH.

But as for those scribes and Pharisees who fought against our Holy Lord Jesus Christ, they were like Korah and his company, who withstood Moses. For they acted as an apostate, and a renegade as to: GOD’S HOLY HEAVENLY WISDOM’S SPIRIT, RULE OF TRUTH.

But not so our Holy beloved apostle Paul. For with GOD’S HOLY HEAVENLY WISDOM’S SPIRIT, RULE OF TRUTH, that was given to him, he always sought to harmonize the two opposites, in order to bring forth: THE ADVANCEMENT OF OUR LORD’S HOLY SPIRIT OF HIS DIVINE GLORY, IN HOPE THAT IT MIGHT BE PLACED IN THE SOUL, IN THE MIND, IN THE HEART, AND IN ALL THE STRENGTH, OF ALL THOSE WHO WOULD HEAR HIM.

Indeed, for the heavenly Christian, the true Gnostic, the true bride of Christ, it is by this very RULE OF TRUTH, that the mystic choir of the truth itself, sings the heavenly Spiritual life giving laws to her soul, her mind, her heart, and to all her Spiritual strength ( Eph.5:19, Rev.15:3, Deut. 31:22).

Let’s look now at how our apostle Paul, in GOD’S HOLY HEAVENLY WISDOM’S SPIRIT, RULE OF TRUTH, brings forth an example for us, on harmonizing the two opposites (of the letter, and of the Spirit), in such a Way, so that the scriptures would have at all times for their objective: THE ADVANCEMENT OF OUR LORD’S HOLY SPIRIT OF HIS DIVINE GLORY, TO BE PLACED IN OUR SOULS, IN OUR MINDS, IN OUR HEARTS, AND IN ALL OUR STRENGTH.

For our beloved apostle Paul wrote,

“Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? 1Cor.9:8-11

And again, of the same,

“Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.” 1Tim. 5:17-18

Here the heavenly Christian, the true Gnostic, the true bride of Christ, does see in 1Cor.9:8-11, that: "THE RULE OF TRUTH", is to be "THE SPIRITUAL MEANING OF THE LAW".

And here in 1 Cor.9:8-11, the heavenly Christian, the true Gnostic, the true bride of Christ, does see that this: SPIRITUAL LAW, that is sown by the true gospel plowman in God's Word, "IS TO BE THE HOPE" OF THE HEAVENLY CHRISTIAN, THE TRUE GNOSTIC, THE TRUE BRIDE OF CHRIST. 

This is "THE HOPE" OF THE TRUE WORD OF THE GOSPEL OF GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS, THAT IS LAID UP FOR HER IN HEAVEN, BECAUSE IT IS THE HEAVENLY SPIRITUAL LAW OF TRUTH.

And in "THIS HOPE", she shall not be ashamed at the appearing of her heavenly lover Lord, for His love is shed abroad in her heart by this heavenly hope ( Col.1:5, Rom. 5:5, Psalms 119:142). 

Here in 1 Tim.5:17-18, the heavenly Christian, the true Gnostic, the true bride of Christ, does see, that: TO LABOUR IN THE WORD AND DOCTRINE BY SOWING THE SPIRITUAL THINGS OF THE GOSPEL, is to labour to harmonize the two opposites (of the letter, and of the Spirit), in such a Way, so that the scriptures would have at all times for their objective: THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE LORD’S HOLY SPIRIT OF HIS DIVINE GLORY, TO BE PLACED IN HER SOUL, IN HER MIND, IN HER HEART, AND IN ALL HER STRENGTH.

And so, seeing this TRUE GOSPEL LABOURING IN GOD'S WORD, the true bride of Christ, associates herself, only with those who are of this heavenly Spiritual  labour in God's Word.

She separates herself from false carnal, so-called, Christian ministers of this world. Knowing that their carnal minded labour in God's Word, is great sin, because they do not submit themselves to THE RULE OF TRUTH, but acting high mindedly in their carnal dead minds, they transgress by the letter that they bring forth as Christian law ( Rom.2:27), the holy heavenly Spiritual laws of God.

For the heavenly Christian, the true Gnostic, the true bride of Christ, knows that a GRAVE FAULT IS BRANDED on those who attach earthly and human doctrine to sacred and Spiritual Words ( John 6:63).

For the letter killeth ( 2 Cor. 3:6), if it is not harmonized with the heavenly Spiritual law of God's Holy Spirit.

For the heavenly Christian, the true Gnostic, the true bride of Christ, does see, that only the true gospel labouring in God's Word, is: GOD’S DIVINE RULE OF HIS PRINCIPLE OF RECONCILIATION BACK TO HIS HEAVENLY WISDOM’S SPIRIT OF TRUTH.

The heavenly Christian, the true Gnostic, the true bride of Christ, will always, always, always, seek to harmonize the two opposites (of the letter, and of the Divine Spirit), in such a Way, so that the scriptures would have at all times for their objective: “THE ADVANCEMENT OF OUR LORD’S HOLY SPIRIT OF HIS DIVINE GLORY, TO BE PLACED IN OUR SOULS, IN OUR MINDS, IN OUR HEARTS, AND IN ALL OUR STRENGTH. SO THAT IN THE END, WE WILL LOVE THE LORD OUR GOD, WITH ALL OUR HEART, ALL OF OUR MIND, ALL OF OUR SOUL, AND ALL OF OUR STRENGTH”.

  But I keep myself pure for thee, O Bridegroom, and holding a lighted lamp ( Proverbs 6:23 ) I go to meet Thee (Matt.25:1-11).

   “Wisdom builded a house to himself; he hewed out seven ( Isa. 11:2,Enoch 61:11) pillars." Proverbs 9:1 Wycliffe Bible A.D.1382

“ Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding ( Deut. 4:5,Deut.4:6) it is established" Proverbs 24:3

Let us continue now looking into the truth on "Gnosticism", so that we all may come to know the great pearl of it ( Matt. 13:46 ), and may come to know just what a Gnostic is, and who is a true Gnostic, and who is a false Gnostic.
