CHRIST IS GOD
The purpose of this treatise is to prove
beyond a doubt, that SCRIPTURE shows very
clearly and in many ways, that THE LORD JESUS
CHRIST (THE SON OF GOD THE
FATHER)
CHRIST NOT JUST A
MAN oH DEAR SOUL, IF YOU ARE IN THE JEWISH, OR MUSLIM RELIGION, YOU ARE TOLD THAT CHRIST WAS JUST A MAN. YOU WERE TOLD WRONG! FOR
THE (TRINITY) THREE IN ONE ALSO DEAR SOUL, IF YOU ARE IN THE CHRISTIAN, OR JEWISH, OR MUSLIM RELIGION, AND THINK THAT "THE TRINITY" (i.e., THE THREE IN ONE DOCTRINE) STARTED WITH THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION, YOUR THINKING IS WRONG!
FOR
Or, best of all DEAR SOUL, start at the beginning here and read the whole article slowly. THANK YOU.
CHRIST IS GOD
“But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when
Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the
Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of
the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand
into his side, I will not believe. And after eight days again his disciples
were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut,
and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to
Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy
hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
Here we see that the apostle Thomas said that Jesus Christ, was his Lord AND HIS GOD.
"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and
they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall
wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

HE CALLS HIMSELF, "THE LORD, THE LORD OF HOSTS". AND LOOKING AT ZECHARIAH 13:9, WHAT ARE THE PEOPLE TO SAY OF THIS "LORD"? THE PEOPLE ARE TO SAY, "THE LORD IS MY GOD" ! “The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel,

And again,
And again,
indeed, when Jesus said to the Jews, "I and my Father are one", the Jews knew beyond a doubt that Jesus was telling them that He (Jesus) was God (see John 10:30-33).In Acts 2:21 the apostle Peter is quoting from THE PROPHET Joel 2:32: “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever

the apostle Peter speaking about the name of Jesus Christ says no other name saves: “Neither is there salvation in any other:

might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

“For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith, “And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with

hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. And he said, Lord,
I believe.
CHRIST NOT JUST A MAN LETS
LOOK VERY CLOSELY AT SCRIPTURE
“He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.” John 1:10 If Christ was only man, how is the world said to have been made by Him, when the world was not by man, but man was ordained after the world? ~John 1:10~
“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in
earth, visible and invisible,
whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all
things were created by him, and for him:”Col.1:16 If Christ be only man, how are "visible things and invisible, thrones, powers, and dominions," said to be created by Him and in Him; when the heavenly powers could not have been made by man, since they must needs have been prior to man? ~Col.1:16~
“John bare witness of him, and cried, saying,
This was he of whom I spake, He
that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.”
If Christ is only man, why did John the Baptist come to testify and say, “He who cometh after me has become before me, because He was prior to me;” when, if Christ were only man, being born after John, He could not be before John, unless because He preceded him, in that He is God? ~John 1:15~
“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do:
for what things soever he doeth,
these also doeth the Son likewise.” John 5:19 If Christ is only man, how is it that "what things the Father doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise," when man cannot do works like to the heavenly operations of God? ~John 5:19~
“For as the Father hath life
in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;”
If Christ is only man, how is it that "even as the Father hath life in Himself, so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself," when man cannot have life in him after the example of God the Father, because he is not glorious in eternity, but made with the materials of mortality? ~John 5:26~
“I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” John 6:51 If Christ is only man, how does He say, "I am the bread of eternal life which came down from heaven," when man can neither be the bread of life, he himself being mortal, nor could he have come down from heaven, since no perishable material is established in heaven? ~John 6:51~
“Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.” John 6:46 If Christ is only man, how does He say that "no man hath seen God at any time, save He which is of God; He hath seen God? " Because if Christ is only man, He could not see God, because no man has seen God; but if, being of God, He has seen God, He wishes it to be understood that He is more than man, in that He has seen God. ~John 6:46~
“What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?” John 6:62 If Christ is only man, why does He say, "What if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where He was before? " But He ascended into heaven, therefore He was there, in that He returned there where He was before. But if He was sent from heaven by the Father, He certainly is not man only; for man, as we have said, could not come from heaven. Therefore as man He was not there before, nor ascended there where He was not. But the Word of God descended which was there, the Word of God, the scriptures say, and God by whom all things were made, and without whom nothing was made. It was not therefore man that thus came from heaven, but the Word of God; that is, God descended from heaven. ~John 6:62~
“Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me:
for I proceeded forth and came
from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.” John 8:42
If Christ is man only, how does He say, "I proceeded forth and came from God," when it is evident that man was made by God, and did not proceed forth from Him? But in the way in which as man He proceeded not from God, thus the Word of God proceeded, of whom it is said, "My heart hath uttered forth a good Word; " which, because it is from God, is with reason also with God. And this, too, since it was not uttered without effect, reasonably makes all things: "For all things were made by Him, and without Him was nothing made." But this Word whereby all things were made (is God). "And God," says he, "was the Word." Therefore God proceeded from God, in that the Word which proceeded is God, who proceeded forth from God. ~John 8:42~
“Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.” John 8:58 If Christ was only man, how did He say, "Before Abraham was, I Am? " For no man can be before Him from whom he himself is; nor can it be that any one should have been prior to him of whom he himself has taken his origin. And yet Christ, although He is born of Abraham, says that He is before Abraham. Either, therefore, He says what is not true, and deceives, if He was not before Abraham, seeing that He was of Abraham; or He does not deceive, if He is also God, and was before Abraham. And if this were not so, it follows that, being of Abraham, He could not be before Abraham. ~John 8:58~
“He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” John 16:14 If Christ was only man, how does He say that the Holy Spirit of truth shall take of His, those things which He shall declare? For neither does the Holy Spirit of truth receive anything from man, but the Holy Spirit of truth offers knowledge to man; nor does the Holy Spirit of truth learn things future from man, but instructs man concerning futurity. Therefore, either the Holy Spirit of truth has not received from Christ, as man, what He should declare, since man could give nothing to the Holy Spirit of truth, seeing that from Him man himself ought to receive, and Christ in the present instance is both mistaken and deceives, in saying that the Holy Spirit of truth shall receive from Him, being a man, the things which He may declare; or, Christ does not deceive us. as in fact He does not. and the Holy Spirit of truth has received from Christ what He may declare. But if He has received from Christ what He may declare to us, Christ is greater than the Holy Spirit of truth, because the Holy Spirit of truth would not receive from Christ unless He were less than Christ (in this economy, but not by the Godhead). But the Holy Spirit of truth being less than Christ (in this economy, but
not by the Godhead), moreover, by this very fact proves Christ to be God,
from whom He has received what He declares: so that the testimony of
Christ's divinity is immense, in the Holy Spirit of truth being found to
be (in this economy, but not by the Godhead) less than Christ, and taking
from Him what He gives to others; seeing that if Christ were only man,
Christ would receive from the Holy Spirit of truth what He should say, not
the Holy Spirit of truth receive from Christ what He should declare.
“And now, O Father, glorify
thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the
world was.” John 17:5 If Christ was only man, how does He say, "And now glorify me with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was? " If, before the world was, He had glory with God, and maintained His glory with the Father, He existed before the world, for He would not have had the glory unless He Himself had existed before, so as to be able to keep the glory. For no one could possess anything, unless he himself should first be in existence to keep anything. But now Christ has the glory before the foundation of the world; therefore He Himself was before the foundation of the world. For unless He were before the foundation of the world, He could not have glory before the foundation of the world, since He Himself was not in existence. But indeed man could not have glory before the foundation of the world, seeing that he was after the world; but Christ had. Therefore, He was before the world. Therefore He was not man only, seeing that He was before the world. He is therefore God, because He was before the world, and held His glory before the world. ~John 17:5~
THE TRINITY (THREE IN ONE) The word "Trinity" comes from the Latin word trinitas, or the word trinitus, which means "three in one" or "threefold." The teaching of the Trinity doctrine i.e., the “three in one doctrine ”, or, “threefold” doctrine, can be found in the ancient writings of some of the greatest ancient Jewish Rabbis. These great Jewish Rabbis taught that the one Godhead appears in the form of three persons of the one Godhead, three manifestations, or three emanations. The teachings of these great Jewish Rabbis that were read in the synagogues, gave an understanding of the triune nature of the Godhead. the Godhead was taught as "Three in One". For example, an ancient Jewish Rabbi wrote, "How can they (the three) be One? Are they verily One, because we call them One?" "How Three can be One, can only be known through the revelation of the Holy Spirit." and again, an ancient Jewish Rabbi wrote, "There is a man, if a Man He is, who is an Angel. This Angel is Metatron, the Keeper of Israel; He is a man in the image of the Holy One, blessed be He, Who is an Emanation from Him [from G-d]; yea, He [the Metatron] is Jehovah. Of Him cannot be said, He is created, formed or made; but He is the Emanation from G-d." and again, an ancient Jewish Rabbi wrote, "... the exalted Shechinah comprehends the Three highest Sephiroth; of Him (the G-dhead) it is said, (Ps. 62:11), "G-d hath spoken once; twice have I heard this." Once and twice means the Three exalted Sephiroth, of whom it is said: Once, once, and once; that is, Three united in One. This is the mystery.” and again, an ancient Jewish Rabbi wrote, "Let us make man" Gen.1:26. From the plural form of this expression, we perceive that in the Divine essence there are two hypostatic (in union), beings or Logoi who speak the one to the other at this moment..."and again, an ancient Jewish Rabbi wrote, "Inasmuch as every perfect tribunal consists of three judges who in their official capacity and jurisdiction are considered as one. When the three Logoi constitute themselves as a tribunal for the dispensation of right and justice..." and again, an ancient Jewish Rabbi wrote, "...from the hands of Jehovah, from the three logoi..." and again, an ancient Jewish Rabbi wrote, "The words 'athhashamayim' (the heavens) indicate that it was only after the ever-living and eternal alhim had manifested as hochma (wisdom) the creative logos that the third manifestation or logos descended from on high upon the earth. Then it was that the three supreme logoi became blended and unified in the work of creation..." The Living Sword Ministries The Living Sword
