CHRIST IS GOD

THE Apostle Thomas said that Jesus Christ was his LORD AND HIS GOD:

“But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” ~John 20: 24-29.~

Here we see that the apostle Thomas said that Jesus Christ, was his Lord AND HIS GOD.

LETS LOOK NOW TO SEE THAT CHRIST IS CALLED IN SCRIPTURE, THE ALMIGHTY GOD, THE ALPHA AND OMEGA, the first and the last:

"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." Rev. 1:7-8

And again,

“Saying,
I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:” Rev.1:11

And again,

“And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”
Rev. 21:6-7

And again,

"Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God." Isaiah 44:6

IT WAS THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST THAT PROPHESIED IN THE PROPHETS ABOUT HIS (CHRIST’S) SUFFERINGS AND THE GLORY THAT WOULD COME AFTER IT:

“Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.”
1 Peter 1:10-11

And again,

“And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.”
Zechariah 12:10

Here IN ZECHARIAH 12:10, WE SEE THAT the spirit of Christ (in the prophet Zechariah), is testifying of his own suffering of being pierced on the cross. And who is this spirit of Christ?

Who is the "I" speaking here? Who is the "me" whom they have pierced?

AND what does He the "I" call Himself in the book of Zechariah THE PROPHET, IN ZECHARIAH 12:1, AND 13:2?

HE CALLS HIMSELF, "THE LORD, THE LORD OF HOSTS".

AND LOOKING AT ZECHARIAH  13:9, WHAT ARE THE PEOPLE TO SAY OF THIS "LORD"?

THE PEOPLE ARE TO SAY,  "THE LORD IS MY GOD" !

“The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.”
Zechariah 12:1

And again,

“And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.”
Zechariah 13:2

And again,

“And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say,The LORD is my God.
Zechariah 13:9

in John 12:41, IT MENTIONS ABOUT ISAIAH THE PROPHET SPEAKING ABOUT  THE GLORY OF CHRIST. FOR IT IS WRITTEN,

“These things said Esaias, when he saw HIS GLORY, and SPAKE OF HIM." John 12:41

AND IN ISAIAH 6:3, WE SEE MENTIONED THE GLORY OF THE HOLY TRINITY, AS IT IS CALLED, THE ONE HOLY LORD GOD, THE LORD OF HOSTS. FOR IT IS WRITTEN,

“And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, Holy, Holy, isTHE LORD OF HOSTS: the whole earth is full ofHIS GLORY."
Isaiah 6:3

in John 2:19-21 it is written,

"Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body." John 2:19-21

Here we see very clearly   that Jesus  is the one who is speaking here. Here we see very clearly that Jesus is the one who said that he would raise his body up. for Jesus said, "I will raise it up" . and in acts 2:24  it is written,

"Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it."
Acts 2:24

And again,

"This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses."
Acts 2:32

And again,

"Unto you first, God having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities."
Acts 3:26

here we see, that as to his manhood, Jesus was indeed a man with a body. but as to his spirit, he (Jesus) was god. his spirit was god. For  Jesus said, "I and my Father are one." John 10:30. one what? one spirit! For God is a spirit... John 4:24. For Jesus was the word that was speaking to them (John 1:14), and this Word was god (John 1:1).

indeed, when Jesus said to the Jews, "I and my Father are one", the Jews knew beyond a doubt that Jesus was telling them that He (Jesus) was God (see John 10:30-33).

THE UNITING OF THE PROPHETS AND THE APOSTLES, CONFIRMS THAT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (The Son of God the Father) IS THE LORD GOD.

In Acts 2:21 the apostle Peter is quoting from THE PROPHET Joel 2:32:

“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:21, Joel 2:32

After quoting from Joel, in Acts 2:38 the apostle Peter commanded all to call on the name of jesus christ:

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:38

Here we see that the apostle Peter confirms that the name of the Lord spoken of in Joel 2:32, is Jesus Christ. And in Joel 2:26-27, it confirms that the person who is called by the name of the Lord in the book of Joel, is the Lord your God:

“And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.”
Joel 2:26-27

in Acts 2:32-33 Peter says,

"This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear."
Acts 2:32-33

Here we see that the apostle Peter is saying to them that Jesus hath shed forth the Holy Ghost. And Here we see that the apostle Peter is explaining to them about what he (Peter) had just told them in Acts 2:16-17, when he was quoting to them, from Joel 2:28-32. And when we look at Joel 2:27-28, we see that it is written,

"And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:" Joel 2:27-28

Here we see that the one who says that he will pour out his spirit in Joel 2:28, is called the LORD your God in Joel 2:27, and is referred to by peter as Jesus Christ in acts 2:31- 33. Therefore, connecting Joel 2:27-28, with acts 2:31-33, we see again beyond a doubt, that Jesus Christ is the LORD your God

And Peter was not the only apostle to confirm this. For all the apostles at Jerusalem confirmed in Acts 8:14-16 that the name of the Lord God is Jesus Christ:

“Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus).” Acts 8:14-16

In Acts 10:43 - 48 we see that all the prophets gave witness that through the name of Jesus Christ, one receives remission of sins, and that this remission of sins is found in the Lord’s water baptism that is done in His name:

To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.”
Acts 10:43-48

In Ezekiel 36:22-25, we see that the Lord God said that He would sanctify His name by His (the Lord God’s) water baptism. Proving again that the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, shows that the Lord Jesus Christ is God:

“Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.” Ezekiel 36:22-25

In John 4:10 -14, we see that Jesus Christ is the fountain of living water:

“Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:10-14

In Jeremiah 2:13-17, we see that the fountain of living water is the Lord God:

“For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. Is Israel a servant? is he a homeborn slave? why is he spoiled? The young lions roared upon him, and yelled, and they made his land waste: his cities are burned without inhabitant. Also the children of Noph and Tahapanes have broken the crown of thy head. Hast thou not procured this unto thyself, in that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, when he led thee by the way? And now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river? Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.”
Jeremiah 2:13-19

CHRIST IS GOD THE SAVIOUR WHO SAVES MANKIND.

the apostle Peter speaking about the name of Jesus Christ says no other name saves:

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

In Isaiah 35:3 -6 we see that god only is the one who saves:

“Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.” Isaiah 35:3-6

And again,

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
Matt. 1:21-23

And again,

“For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.”
1 Tim. 4:10

And again,

“For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.” Isaiah43:3

And again,

I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no Saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.”  Isaiah 43:11-12

And again,

“But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;” Titus 1:3

And again,

“To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.” Titus 1:4

And again,

“But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;” Titus 3:4-6

And again,

“Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.” Isaiah 45:21

And again,

“Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.” Hosea 13:4

And again,

“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:” Philippians 3:20

And again,

“For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”
2 Peter 1:11

THAT CHRIST IS CALLED GOD IN THE PSALMS:

“Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.” Psalms 45:6

And again,

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.” Hebrews 1:8

NAMES GIVEN TO JESUS CHRIST THAT PROVE HE IS GOD.  THE NAME EMANUEL, WHICH MEANS = GOD WITH US. IT IS FOUND IN ISAIAH 7:14. THIS NAME IS GIVEN TO JESUS CHRIST:

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
Matt. 1:21-23, Isaiah 7:14

Isaiah the prophet, when prophesizing about Jesus Christ, CALLS JESUS CHRIST,  THE MIGHTY GOD:

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

Worship belongs only to God:

“Forthou shalt worship no other God: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:” Exodus 34:14

And again,

“Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”  Matt. 4:10

Worship belonging only to God IS COMMANDED TO BE GIVEN TO CHRIST:

“For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.” Heb.1:5-6

Worship belonging only to God is freely rendered to Christ:

“And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.” Matt.2:11

And again,

“Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.” Matt.14:33

And again,

“And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.” Matt.28:9

And again,

“And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:” Luke 24:52

And again,

“And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.”Matt.8:2

And again,

“Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.” John 9:35-39

CHRIST NOT JUST A MAN

LETS LOOK VERY CLOSELY AT SCRIPTURE

“He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.” John 1:10

If Christ was only man, how is the world said to have been made by Him, when the world was not by man, but man was ordained after the world? ~John 1:10~

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:”Col.1:16

If Christ be only man, how are "visible things and invisible, thrones, powers, and dominions," said to be created by Him and in Him; when the heavenly powers could not have been made by man, since they must needs have been prior to man? ~Col.1:16~

“John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.”
John 1:15

If Christ is only man, why did John the Baptist come to testify and say, “He who cometh after me has become before me, because He was prior to me;” when, if Christ were only man, being born after John, He could not be before John, unless because He preceded him, in that He is God? ~John 1:15~

“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.” John 5:19

If Christ is only man, how is it that "what things the Father doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise," when man cannot do works like to the heavenly operations of God? ~John 5:19~

For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;”
John 5:26

If Christ is only man, how is it that "even as the Father hath life in Himself, so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself," when man cannot have life in him after the example of God the Father, because he is not glorious in eternity, but made with the materials of mortality? ~John 5:26~

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” John 6:51

If Christ is only man, how does He say, "I am the bread of eternal life which came down from heaven," when man can neither be the bread of life, he himself being mortal, nor could he have come down from heaven, since no perishable material is established in heaven? ~John 6:51~

Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.” John 6:46

If Christ is only man, how does He say that "no man hath seen God at any time, save He which is of God; He hath seen God? " Because if Christ is only man, He could not see God, because no man has seen God; but if, being of God, He has seen God, He wishes it to be understood that He is more than man, in that He has seen God. ~John 6:46~

What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?” John 6:62

If Christ is only man, why does He say, "What if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where He was before? " But He ascended into heaven, therefore He was there, in that He returned there where He was before. But if He was sent from heaven by the Father, He certainly is not man only; for man, as we have said, could not come from heaven. Therefore as man He was not there before, nor ascended there where He was not. But the Word of God descended which was there, the Word of God, the scriptures say, and God by whom all things were made, and without whom nothing was made. It was not therefore man that thus came from heaven, but the Word of God; that is, God descended from heaven. ~John 6:62~

“Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.” John 8:42

If Christ is man only, how does He say, "I proceeded forth and came from God," when it is evident that man was made by God, and did not proceed forth from Him? But in the way in which as man He proceeded not from God, thus the Word of God proceeded, of whom it is said, "My heart hath uttered forth a good Word; " which, because it is from God, is with reason also with God. And this, too, since it was not uttered without effect, reasonably makes all things: "For all things were made by Him, and without Him was nothing made." But this Word whereby all things were made (is God). "And God," says he, "was the Word." Therefore God proceeded from God, in that the Word which proceeded is God, who proceeded forth from God. ~John 8:42~

“Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.” John 8:58

If Christ was only man, how did He say, "Before Abraham was, I Am? " For no man can be before Him from whom he himself is; nor can it be that any one should have been prior to him of whom he himself has taken his origin. And yet Christ, although He is born of Abraham, says that He is before Abraham. Either, therefore, He says what is not true, and deceives, if He was not before Abraham, seeing that He was of Abraham; or He does not deceive, if He is also God, and was before Abraham. And if this were not so, it follows that, being of Abraham, He could not be before Abraham. ~John 8:58~

“He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” John 16:14

If Christ was only man, how does He say that the Holy Spirit of truth shall take of His, those things which He shall declare?

For neither does the Holy Spirit of truth receive anything from man, but the Holy Spirit of truth offers knowledge to man; nor does the Holy Spirit of truth learn things future from man, but instructs man concerning futurity. Therefore, either the Holy Spirit of truth has not received from Christ, as man, what He should declare, since man could give nothing to the Holy Spirit of truth, seeing that from Him man himself ought to receive, and Christ in the present instance is both mistaken and deceives, in saying that the Holy Spirit of truth shall receive from Him, being a man, the things which He may declare; or, Christ does not deceive us.

as in fact He does not. and the Holy Spirit of truth has received from Christ what He may declare.

But if He has received from Christ what He may declare to us, Christ is greater than the Holy Spirit of truth, because the Holy Spirit of truth would not receive from Christ unless He were less than Christ (in this economy, but not by the Godhead).

But the Holy Spirit of truth being less than Christ (in this economy, but not by the Godhead), moreover, by this very fact proves Christ to be God, from whom He has received what He declares: so that the testimony of Christ's divinity is immense, in the Holy Spirit of truth being found to be (in this economy, but not by the Godhead) less than Christ, and taking from Him what He gives to others; seeing that if Christ were only man, Christ would receive from the Holy Spirit of truth what He should say, not the Holy Spirit of truth receive from Christ what He should declare.
~John 16:14~

“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.” John 17:5

If Christ was only man, how does He say, "And now glorify me with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was? "

If, before the world was, He had glory with God, and maintained His glory with the Father, He existed before the world, for He would not have had the glory unless He Himself had existed before, so as to be able to keep the glory. For no one could possess anything, unless he himself should first be in existence to keep anything.

But now Christ has the glory before the foundation of the world; therefore He Himself was before the foundation of the world. For unless He were before the foundation of the world, He could not have glory before the foundation of the world, since He Himself was not in existence. But indeed man could not have glory before the foundation of the world, seeing that he was after the world; but Christ had. Therefore, He was before the world. Therefore He was not man only, seeing that He was before the world. He is therefore God, because He was before the world, and held His glory before the world. ~John 17:5~

THE TRINITY (THREE IN ONE)

The word "Trinity" comes from the Latin word trinitas, or the word trinitus, which means "three in one" or "threefold."

The teaching of the Trinity doctrine i.e., the “three in one doctrine ”, or, “threefold” doctrine, can be found in the ancient writings of some of the greatest ancient Jewish Rabbis.

These great Jewish Rabbis taught that the one Godhead appears in the form of three persons of the one Godhead, three manifestations, or three emanations.

The teachings of these great Jewish Rabbis that were read in the synagogues, gave an understanding of the triune nature of the Godhead. the Godhead was taught as "Three in One".

For example, an ancient Jewish Rabbi wrote,

"How can they (the three) be One? Are they verily One, because we call them One?" "How Three can be One, can only be known through the revelation of the Holy Spirit."

and again, an ancient Jewish Rabbi wrote,

"There is a man, if a Man He is, who is an Angel. This Angel is Metatron, the Keeper of Israel; He is a man in the image of the Holy One, blessed be He, Who is an  Emanation  from Him [from G-d]; yea, He [the Metatron] is Jehovah.  Of Him cannot be said, He is created, formed or made; but He is the Emanation from G-d."

and again, an ancient Jewish Rabbi wrote,
