heavenly Jerusalem In Galatians 4:26, it is written, “But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all”. Here we see that the apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, was confessing that his mother was Jerusalem above. From this confession we are shown those who are the spiritual brethren of this apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ. For all those who say that they are the spiritual
brethren of this apostle, should also (like their brother)
be confessing that Jerusalem above is
their mother. For
otherwise they can not truly say that they are his brother in the Lord;
if they are not confessing the same mother in the Lord. Spiritual Mother ![]() With this in mind, let us look now to see those who are confessing Jerusalem above to be their mother, and those who are not confessing Jerusalem above to be their mother. "Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. Nevertheless what
saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the
bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. So then,
brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free." In Gal.4:21-31, we see that the apostle of our Lord Jesus Christ, was stating that he (and all those who were his spiritual brethren) had been born again from above, and that his new spiritual mother was a free woman, a covenant, a mother called Jerusalem above. So in Galatians 4:21-31, we see that it would be impossible to be born again by a new covenant (law) from above, without being born again from the mother from above. In Gal.4:21-31, we also see that it would be impossible for anyone to be spiritual brethren of the apostles, without having the same spiritual mother as the apostles. Let us all then, who truly long to be spiritual brethren of the apostles and all the saints of God, take a moment to pray; That by the grace of God, we might look into the mother of all the saints, who is called, heavenly Jerusalem above. So that we might
completely know and understand, the new covenant (law) of this mother that
is free, and that gives Everlasting Life to all the saints of God, who are
born in her. So that if we have been fighting against her covenant, her
laws, in any way, we may stop, and repent with all our heart, and ask to be
born again in her, so that we too,
like all the saints of God, will be
able to confess her to be our mother. Mount Zion, The Heavenly Jerusalem ![]() In Hebrews 12:23-29, we see many things spoken about heavenly Jerusalem. For it is written, “ But ye are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven. Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we
receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may
serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear: For our God is a
consuming fire.” Heb.12:23-29. The Heavenly Church, Which Is His Body ![]() In Heb.12:23, we see that heavenly Jerusalem is the only heavenly church. For the word general, means =universal. And indeed, many early church writers, confirm that JERUSALEM IS THE CHURCH! "Jerusalem,
according to what is often said, is interpreted as
the Church, which is the city
of God built from living rocks,..." And again, "...you come to
Zion, the observatory, the Church,
to announce in Zion, that is,
the
church, the vengeance of the Lord our God,..." In Heb.12:23, we also see that heavenly Jerusalem is the only church of the first born, thereby showing us all, that heavenly Jerusalem is the only church, the only body, of the Lord Jesus Christ. For he is the first born, as it is written, “ And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” Colossians1:18. And again, “And hath put
all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things
to
the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth
all in all.” And again, " For no man
ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it,
even
as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh,
and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and his
mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they
two shall be one
flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the
church.” Ephesians 5:29-32. Holy Jerusalem, Descending Out Of Heaven ![]() And again, “And there
came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the
seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew
thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the
spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city,
the
holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. Having the
glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a
jasper stone, clear as crystal;” From these scriptures, we see that heavenly Jerusalem, is the only church, the only bride, the only body of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Hebrews 12:23, we see that the sons of the first born, the sons whose names are written in heaven, are to be found only in her. As it is written, “To the general assembly
and church of
the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of
all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect.” And again, “And of Zion
it shall be said, This and that man was born in her; and the highest
himself shall establish her. The Lord shall count, when he writeth up the
people, that this man was born there. Selah.” Psalms
87:5-6 Him That Overcometh ![]() And again, “Him that overcometh, will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.” Revelation 3:12
But now let us ask
For the Lord said, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” John 3:5-7 Or, as the first English Bible (The John Wycliffe A.D.1382 Bible), would have it.
"Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to thee, but a man
be born
again of water, and of the Holy Ghost, he may not enter into the
kingdom of God. That that is born of the flesh, is flesh; and that that is
born of the Spirit, is Spirit. Wonder thou not, for I said to thee, it
behooveth you TO BE BORN AGAIN." As we know, God the immortal Word, was speaking here to Nicodemus a ruler of the Jews (John 3:1), a so-called master (doctor of the laws), of Israel (John 3:10). But Nicodemus, not
understanding what the water was that our Holy Lord was speaking about,
showed that he (Nicodemus) did not know
The Living Waters Out From Jerusalem ![]() Here we see that one is to be born again, born from above (for the word 'AGAIN' in John 3:7 means= 'FROM ABOVE'), of water and spirit. But now let us ask the heretics and the schismatics who will not confess that the baptismal water is found only in heavenly Jerusalem:
How
can one be born above in Heavenly Jerusalem of
For scripture shows that the baptismal water and spirit is found in Heavenly Jerusalem, as it is written, “And it shall be in that day, that
The Lord is Judge, Lawgiver, and King
And again, ” Look upon
Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem
a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of
the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords
thereof be broken. But there the glorious Lord will be unto us a
place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars,
neither shall gallant ship pass thereby. For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save
us.” And again, "In that day
there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the
inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.” Zechariah 13:1.
Pure River of Water of Life ![]() Here we see that only the inhabitants of Jerusalem, have access to the lawful baptismal fountain that washes away sin and uncleanness. And again it is written, “ And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.” Revelation 22:1. Here we see again that the pure
baptismal water of life, only comes to us from Christ the Lamb, and
His one body, the church, the bride, the mother, Jerusalem above, for
she (Jerusalem above)
is called,
“ At that time
they shall call
Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be
gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall
they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.” Jeremiah
3:17. The Spirit of Judgment
and of Burning Here we see that it would be impossible to baptize any one in the name of the Lord, outside of heavenly Jerusalem, the church, for from this scripture, we see that there only, is the name of the Lord found. And again it is written, “ And it shall come to pass, that he that is
left in Zion, and he that remained in Jerusalem, shall be
called holy, even every one that is written among the living in
Jerusalem: When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the
daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the
midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of
burning.” Isaiah 4:3-4. Take The Water Of Life Freely ![]() From this scripture we see that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Holy spirit of judgment given to wash away the filth of sin, cannot possibly be outside of Jerusalem. This is the spirit that reproves this world of spiritual sin, spiritual righteousness, and spiritual judgment, (i.e., reproves this world by the spiritual law of God, see John 16:7-8). And as said, from this scripture, we see that this Holy spirit of spiritual judgment, cannot possibly be found out side of heavenly Jerusalem. And again, "And the
Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And
let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take
Here we see that the baptismal water of life, and the spirit of life, are to be found in heavenly Jerusalem, the only church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Here we see that the spirit and the bride, that is to say, the church, the body, the brethren, of the Lord Jesus Christ, not only confess, but also call out onto all nations of all people, to come to the baptismal covering of Christ and His church. Here we also see that those of all
nations of all people, who are not confessing with the apostles, and prophets,
and all the saints, that Jerusalem above is the church, their mother, etc.,
are
not calling all nations of people to this baptismal covering,
which is the true putting on of Christ. Baptized Into Christ ![]() For baptism is a covering. It is the putting on of Christ. For those who have been baptized into Christ the spirit, have put on Christ the spirit, as it is written, “For as
many of you as have been baptized into Christ, have put on Christ.” From all these
scriptures above, we see that
The Mystery Of Iniquity ![]() So also from these scriptures above, we are able to see those who are not confessing that only in heavenly Jerusalem one finds the baptismal water and spirit of everlasting life. And these things need to be seen, by all. These things need to be revealed to all nations. For as seen from these scriptures, any other baptism done in the name of the Lord for remission of sin, is in itself great sin. And this great sin is a mystery, as it is written, “ For the mystery of iniquity (sin) doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7 Here we see that sin is a mystery and needs to be revealed. The great sin of false baptism done outside of the church, outside of heavenly Jerusalem, in the Lord’s name, has covered all nations of all peoples with great sin. This great sin covering, has been done by the rebellious children of this world, which is spiritually called Egypt (Revelation 11:8). For it is in great bondage of sin, as it is written, “ Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take
counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of
my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: That walk to go down into
Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the
strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! Therefore shall
the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt
Hear The Law Of The Lord
Here we see that the rebellious children take and confess a baptismal covering, but it is not the baptismal covering of the spirit and water found in heavenly Jerusalem. It is a false Image of the true baptismal covering. For the word “covering” found in Isaiah 30:1, means, “image, molten image." And this “false image”, is great sin, that has gone into all the earth. Onto all nations and peoples. It is lawlessness. For the spiritual law commands, “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:” Exodus 20:4. This is the lawlessness that all the rebellious people, and their rebellious children, started long ago, because they would not hear the law, as it is written, " That this is
a rebellious people, lying
children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord:” Spiritual Adultery Against The Law Of God ![]() For long ago, the false prophets, and teachers who crept into the church unawares (by those who could not see them spiritually, Jude 4), committed this horrible thing, which is spiritual adultery against the law of God, as it is written, “I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.” Jeremiah 23:14. This is what is done in the spiritual
Sodom and Gomorrah, (see Revelation 11:8). So, in regards to the covering
of baptism, every man in all nations, and in all peoples is brutish
(carnal) by his knowledge of baptism. And every man, in all nations, and all
peoples, is confounded by his molten image of falsehood. Molten Image Is Falsehood ![]() As it is written, “Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath ( Divine Word) in them.” Jeremiah 51:17. Therefore, every man, in all nations, and in all peoples, must greatly repent in regards to their false molten image, and come to the Church, heavenly Jerusalem, the mother of all the saints, to be baptized in order to be saved, and to be able to confess: “But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.” And again, “ And this
word (Christ, the Word), Yet once more, signifieth the removing of
those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those
things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Wherefore we receiving a
kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may
serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:” Hebrews 12:27-28. The Place of Rivers and Streams ![]() From these scriptures, we see, that the baptismal grace, must be found in a kingdom that cannot be moved. And this kingdom, is Zion, heavenly Jerusalem, for she with her baptismal rivers and streams of the saving mercy and grace of the Lord, will not be removed, as it is written, "Look upon Zion,
the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet
habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the
stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords
thereof be broken. But there the glorious Lord will be unto us a
place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars,
neither shall gallant ship pass thereby. For the Lord is our judge, the Lord
is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king;
he will save us.” From these scriptures, we see that the false baptismal fountains of the heretics and schismatics who confess them, even now are being shaken, and will be removed, along with the heretics and schismatics who confess them. But here we also see that the baptismal rivers and streams of heavenly Jerusalem, the church of the Lord Jesus Christ, will never be removed. For she alone is blessed of the Lord, and blessed also, are her ministers, who confess and give her baptismal drink to all nations and all peoples, who thirst for the covering of God’s righteousness. So that all nations and all peoples, may confess that heavenly Jerusalem is their mother. The Living Sword Ministries The Living Sword
